While Mojo Nixon passed away on February 7, 2024, he will always live on in the traditions of the Brothers of the NC Omega Tau Chapter of Pi Lambda Phi through his song “Pirate Radio.” There is hardly a PiLam gathering where it isn’t played. Slightly altered with a few lyrical tweaks—and drowned out by the boisterous singing of the brothers—it announces our presence to everyone around us, just as it always has.
